We lead patients toward optimal health using a human approach, clinical expertise, and state-of-the-art technology. From smartphone-based assessments to health coaching and education, we are consistently developing new tools to fully support patients from diagnosis through recovery.
We help providers make smart care decisions by providing them with better tools and resources – detailed data sets, evidence-based treatments, and peer-to-peer support. And we believe in rewarding providers for making responsible choices, like site-of-care and treatment plan optimization.
We provide health plans with insights that help them deliver the highest quality care while achieving greater financial returns. By using AI and predictive analytics, we aim to reduce the number of unnecessary or unsafe treatments and provide alternative care paths that improve patient outcomes and ROI.
Eric Pezzi founded TurningPoint in 2012 and serves as our Chief Executive Officer. He uses his extensive industry knowledge and personal experience to direct all operations of the organization.
Eric began his career in the healthcare industry over 20 years ago, serving in a variety of roles including the Senior Vice President of Priority Healthcare, the Chief Information Officer of Curascript, the Executive Vice President of Operations of Access MediQuip and as the President of New Century Health. Through his experience in the field, Eric was aware of weaknesses in the healthcare system, but it was a personal experience that really highlighted the deficiencies of the system. He was enlisted to assist a friend who was having trouble navigating support options when she began battling cancer. It was through this experience that Eric realized that the support systems available for healthcare were unnecessarily complicated and did not offer sufficient options to support the management of care. Ultimately, he concluded that this lack of assistance placed an undo and unacceptable burden upon the patient. This is what inspired Eric to launch TurningPoint and pursue the mission of safer, high-quality, affordable care.
In his spare time, Eric likes to travel and spend time with his family.
